A work network for the people who make films and photographs in India. Camera, lighting, sound, art and wardrobe, production, post, and the people who shoot weddings and content.

Nobody here asks you for money

Not to register, not to audition, not to be listed, not for training, and not as a deposit — refundable or otherwise. Work that asks is taken down.

A person reads every business before it can post anything, and reads an individual’s first job before it goes live. If somebody does ask you for money, report it. You will be told what was decided — a report that disappears is no use to anybody.

It is free

All of it, for everybody, while we are getting started. Posting work, applying, messaging, your profile, your credits.

When that changes we will say so first, in plain words, before anything is switched off. Your work stays yours: putting it here does not give it to us, and closing your account takes it down.

What a confirmed credit is

It is the whole point of this, so it is worth two minutes.

You add a job you did — the film, the campaign, the wedding — and say what you did on it. Then the person who hired you is asked whether that is right. When they say yes, the credit shows a green tick on your profile.

They do not have to be a member. They get one email with two buttons, yes or no, and nothing to sign up for. Most of the work you have already done was for somebody who is not here.

You cannot confirm your own work, and we watch for people confirming each other’s invented jobs. What a hirer sees is a list of jobs that actually happened, said so by the people who paid for them. That is worth more than any number of followers, which is why we do not show followers to anybody but you.

Getting work

Say what you do, where you are, and which days you are free.
Put up three pieces of work. It can be a link — Youtube, Vimeo, a drive.
Work near you comes to you. Apply with one tap: your profile and your work go over, and a short note if you want to write one.
When the job is done, add the credit and ask them to confirm it.

Hiring somebody

Post what you need. Say the dates, the money and the place. It takes about two minutes.
People near you who do that job see it. You get their profile, their work and their confirmed credits.
Shortlist, message, and say who you hired.

Anybody can hire, and anybody can be hired. A cinematographer finding their own focus puller is the same screen as a production house finding a gaffer. If you are hiring as a business, we check the business by hand first — a GST lookup and a short video call — before it can post anything.

What we do not do

Nobody is ranked by followers or by likes. Your follower count is yours, and no hirer ever sees it.
Nobody pays to be seen higher in a list.
We never ask where you studied, and it is not a filter. Most camera and lighting crew in this country learned on set, and a search that screens them out is a search that finds the wrong people.
Your phone number stays hidden until you give it out. Your email is never shown.
