1What we do
We run a place where creative crews show their work and find work. We are not your employer and we are not an agency. We do not take a cut of what you are paid, and we are not part of the arrangement you make with whoever hires you.
In this agreement, CreativeUs means this website and everything on it, you means the person reading it, and a gig means any piece of work posted here, whether it is a day’s shoot or a permanent job.
2Who can join
You must be 18 or over. One account per person. What you tell us about yourself has to be true.
3Your work stays yours
Everything you put up is yours. You give us permission to show it on CreativeUs, and to make the smaller and compressed copies needed to show it quickly on a phone. Nothing more. Take it down and we stop showing it.
4What you agree not to do
- Ask anybody for money to be considered for work.
- Put up work that is not yours, or claim a job you did not do.
- Harass anybody, or post abusive or sexual content.
- Scrape the site, or use it to build a rival list of people.
4.1A credit means something
A credit is a job on your profile that the person or business who hired you has confirmed. It is what a hirer looks at instead of a follower count, which is exactly why claiming one you did not do is the most serious thing on this list. What each kind of confirmation is worth is written on the credit itself.
5What we may do
We may take down anything that breaks the community rules, and suspend accounts that keep breaking them. We tell you what we decided and why.
6Money
Everything is free while we are getting started. If that changes we will tell you well before it does, and nothing you have already put up will be locked away.
7If something goes wrong
We do our best to keep the site up and your work safe, but we cannot promise it will never break. We are not responsible for what happens between you and somebody who hires you. Check people out, and tell us if something feels wrong.
8Ending it
You can close your account whenever you like, from Settings. There are seven days to change your mind, then your rows and your files are deleted. What we delete, and how to ask for it, is in the privacy policy.
9Which law
Indian law applies, and the courts in Bengaluru have jurisdiction. Complaints go to our grievance officer, whose details are on the complaints page.
