1Nobody pays to work
No gig, job or person on CreativeUs may ask you for money to be considered for work. That includes registration fees, audition fees, portfolio fees, training fees, onboarding fees and deposits of any kind, refundable or not.
If somebody asks you for money, report it. We check every gig before it goes live and we remove the ones that ask.
2Show your own work
Put up work you did, and say what you did on it. If you were one of six people on a camera team, say so. A credit is a job confirmed by the other side, which is what makes it worth something — and what makes claiming one you did not do the most serious thing on this page. It is also in the user agreement.
3Treat people as you would on a set
No abuse, no harassment, no sexual content, and nothing that singles somebody out for who they are. Disagreeing is fine. Being cruel is not.
4Be who you say you are
One account per person. Do not pretend to be somebody else, or to be a business you do not work for. Accounts are for people aged 18 and over.
5What happens when something breaks a rule
Anybody can report a post, a comment, a profile or a gig. A person reads every report. We may take the thing down, or suspend the account, and we tell both sides what we decided and why. If you think we got it wrong, reply to the email and a person will read that too, or write to us on the complaints page.
6Blocking
Blocking somebody hides them from you and you from them, both ways, everywhere. You never have to explain it to anybody, and they are not told.
